Plus, after a day of exploring, you can unwind in the private hot tub, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Exploring Torver and Beyond
Just half a mile from the cottage Hollace, the small village of Torver welcomes you with its charming atmosphere. For those willing to venture a bit further, a short 3-mile drive or walk takes you to the bustling village of Coniston. You can walk along the old railway line track that transported slate, copper, and later tourists back in the day. This track is perfect for a dog walk.
Here, dining options abound, with various eateries and welcoming pubs waiting to satisfy your culinary cravings. The retail stores and boating centres provide something for everyone.
They offer a variety of activities, such as canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. These activities are perfect for people looking for adventure. Some willing pooches may join you in a canoe.
Take a cruise around Coniston Water on Coniston Launch with your dog. Disembark at Torver Jetty and enjoy a leisurely walk back to your dog-friendly holiday cottage – Beautiful Hollace.
Walker’s, Sailor’s and Rider’s Paradise
Our cottage offers a stunning view of the Old Man of Coniston and Dow Crag. This makes it an ideal location for those who enjoy walking and climbing.
Boat enthusiasts can enjoy sailing on “The Gondola,” a restored Victorian steamer. The boat conveniently stops at Torver Jetty, which is just a short distance away.
For those who prefer travelling on two wheels, Cyclists have ample space to store bikes, and it’s a great starting point for riding around Coniston Water. If mountain biking is more your style, Grizedale is a short drive on the other side of the lake.
Home Comforts and Scenic Views
Upon entering the cottage, a spacious porch lets you comfortably store all your outdoor gear. A comfortable kitchen is good for cooking meals. The nearby lounge has a gas fire and Smart TV for relaxing evenings with your four-legged friends.
The sleeping quarters have three cosy bedrooms. Each bedroom has beautiful views and comfortable furniture.
The main bedroom has a large king-size bed. The other rooms have 2 single beds and a double bed. This guarantees a peaceful night after a day of exploring.
Outdoor Delights and Dog-Friendly Features
The property’s exterior is just as impressive, featuring various spots to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The ‘Secret Garden’ is a safe place for your pets to explore. The picnic area is a great spot to enjoy a meal outside, gazing up to the Southern Fells ahead.

Living in Hollace was a joy for our family. We had to move for personal reasons but love it and miss it.
Our children often enjoyed sunny days here in the beautiful gardens. The wide open spaces and safe surroundings here allow them to explore and grow, creating unforgettable memories freely.
We all value this place deeply, appreciating its awe-inspiring natural beauty. With that in mind please look after our Hollace for us by removing rubbish and picking up after your dogs.
